A deep dive with Niclas Söör on DoSpace expansion across regional Swedish cities
Coworking isn't just a phenomenon that is growing in capitals and larger cities, but rather a trend that seems to
Genetor Coworking, which currently operates on two floors of Helsingborg C, has signed an agreement with Wihlborgs for an additional floor of nearly 900 square meters. The move will take place at the turn of the year 2023/2024.
Established in 2019, Genetor Coworking is present in central parts of Helsingborg, Malmö, and soon in Hyllie and Lund. The company offers a premium concept with various types of coworking solutions.
The expansion at Helsingborg C from 2,200 to a total of 3,100 square meters will take place on the top floor, boasting large glass sections and views over the city and the sound. An internal elevator will be built between the various floors.
The coworking operator is virtually fully occupied in its premises in western Skåne and sees a need among several existing tenants to expand.
"It's important for us to offer attractive premises in central locations with good connections, and we certainly get that at Helsingborg C. In these beautiful premises, we want to offer the best possible service, but also the opportunity to network and discover new business opportunities. Moreover, our customers have central Helsingborg's wide range of shops, restaurants, and culture right outside the door," says Marie Willstrand, business developer at Genetor Coworking.
"The premises at the top of Helsingborg C are truly something out of the ordinary, and it's exciting that Genetor and their customers are taking up space here. We have put a lot of effort in recent years into making Helsingborg C a welcoming, safe, and attractive meeting place for travelers, visitors, and companies alike," says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
